Good News Is On the Way

A final polish is being put on plans for Regathering in time for Holy Week at Eastern Shore Chapel. In the past week, much progress has been made toward the resumption of in-person, indoor worship services. A detailed announcement from clergy and vestry is just around the corner and will be made by parish-wide email. In the interim, we continue to provide virtual worship opportunities through our weekly prerecorded YouTube services. Thanks to all who plan, produce and participate in our online worship!

Parish Day School: Chicks!

This week at Parish Day School, our students have been exploring with 4-H the Egg to Chicken unit. The incubators are housed in our 3s classrooms. One of our classrooms created a barn for the eggs, to make sure these new chicks felt comfortable in their room. The students are learning about how the chicks are growing inside the egg and counting down to when the eggs are scheduled to hatch. The teachers are candling the eggs this week so the students can see the chick inside the egg. If you would like to see a video of the teachers candling the eggs you can check our Facebook page.

We are continuing to enroll new students to Parish Day School for the Fall and families for Camp Turtle Trap for the summer. If you know someone interested in enrolling in Parish Day School or Camp Turtle Trap, please have them contact us at [email protected] or give us a call at 757-491-6130. We also have more information about our program on our website at www.parishdayschool.org.
