Volunteers Needed at the Chapel Pantry!

The Chapel Pantry has added a Saturday distribution shift from 12 to 2 pm each week. We have an abundance of food coming in on Saturdays that would be best given out on the day it arrives. We need volunteers in all areas, from guest intake, to food distribution, to outdoor help driving the golf cart and helping in the fresh produce area. We need six people each Saturday to run the shift and we still have some openings. You do not have to work every Saturday. If you have an interest in helping at the pantry, now is your chance to get involved! Contact Kay O’Reilly at [email protected] or 757-323-7495 for more information. Please note: We have plenty of opportunities to volunteer on other days of the week too!

Parish Day School: Hibernation Day

Last week we held an all school Hibernation Day and all classes were encouraged to wear their pajamas to school. Students are learning about Arctic animals and animals that hibernate in the winter. Classrooms created bear caves in their rooms that students used as cozy areas to read or rest during the day and classes received a special hibernation snack! It is an exciting time to be a preschooler.

Registration open for parishioners and current students
We have opened registration for our parishioner families and current students from Jan. 27 through Feb. 7. Should you have a preschooler interested in attending Parish Day School, please contact 757-491-6130 or email us at [email protected] .
