Welcome to the Chapel!”
Welcome to the Chapel! Whether you’re a regular visitor, an over-the-top-committed member, or a first-time attendee, we welcome you to this family of God. Since Easter is almost here, I thought I’d simply remind you of a couple things you may have forgotten or inform you of something that you may not have known.
Our Holy Week services began this past Sunday, on Palm Sunday, followed by a spectacular lunch attended by LOTS of folks. Our next gathering is tonight (Tuesday, April 15, from 5 to 7 pm) for Gather and Give, our monthly Social Hour celebrating our current mission focus. Since April is dedicated to those who are hungry, our collection this month is made up of non-perishable food items. We will be joined by the officers of Stillpoint Missions, who help supply lots of folks with food and necessary items. It should be a great time of information and social gathering, so please join us! (It’s BYOB, and, if you think about it, an appetizer to share, though there’s always plenty of that stuff, so just come join us if you’d like!)
Then, this Friday is Good Friday, which we will remember with a powerful worship service at 6 pm. This service is a favorite of many who attend. If you’re available, I encourage you to join us. This lasts under an hour and provides everyone with powerful reflections as we prepare for Easter.
On Saturday, we are hosting a special Memorial Service for Michelle Giannico at 10 a.m. Those who know the family will certainly want to attend and remember this wonderful woman who has meant so much to the Chapel family for many years.
Finally, Easter Sunday begins with a sunrise service in the Chapel’s Gardens, which is the perfect place to celebrate Easter. This service begins at 7 am and concludes by 8 am and provides a fantastic Easter experience. Join us outside, early on Easter morning, as we welcome the Risen LORD!
Our final Holy Week service takes place at 10 am in the Chapel Sanctuary, complete with our own musicians and orchestra members. The service is awesome and inspirational, so I know you’ll want to join us if you are available.
We want you to join us this Easter. The Good Friday service and 10 am Easter Sunday Service will both be live-streamed to our website, Facebook, and YouTube, so if you are unable to join us in person, please join us online!
I pray that you and your loved ones are well this Holy Week. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
God Bless,
Rev. Brock
