Chapel Rock Family Ministry Weekend Update for May 17, 2020
Congratulations Graduates!
This weekend we’re celebrating our graduates. More than that we marking the milestone that means a big transition from the phase of late adolescence into the beginning of adulthood. That means change for everyone; graduates, parents, leaders, church family, which is the reason we make it a big deal every year! And while this year is different than ever before, it’s still a reason to celebrate—not because something is ending, but because our relationships with these grads is continuing forward in a whole new way.... We are FOR YOU and we are WITH YOU graduates!

The Graduate Recognition video above will air on Sunday's livestream at 9:15a and 11a.

CIY MOVE/MIX Update (High School & Middle School)

We're sad to report that throughout the past week we received word that CIY Move originally scheduled for June 15-20 at Hope College in Holland, MI, and CIY Mix, originally scheduled for June 22-26 at Cedarville College have both been cancelled. High School and Middle School students registered for Move or Mix will receive a refund for registrations costs that have already been paid.

Even though the normal events can't happen on college campuses because of Covid-19 as originally planned, we're planning on continuing to partner with CIY to host two events here at home. Both events will take place during the original timeframe of the respective weeks of MOVE and MIX. Since March, the team at CIY has been developing a reimagined MOVE/MIX experience called MOVE/AT and MIX/AT. The driving idea behind it is to be able to do MOVE/MIX wherever you are at – It will look a little different than an on campus event, but the same age-intentional programming, the same Gospel-rooted teaching, small-group materials, even adapted games – the same level of thought, prayer and care that is poured into a national on campus event has been poured into this experience.

Details will follow as plans and dates are finalized. Those who have registered already will receive direct communication. If you or your student have not registered, but are interested in being a part of the experience, email Nick at and request info for MOVE/AT or MIX/AT.

FCA Virtual Huddle #9

House Church Kit
Go beyond the screen by checking out our House Church kit available at This kit is designed exclusively to help you prepare to join us online for the Sunday morning service streamed at 9:15a and 11a on Sundays.

The House Church kit includes scripture readings related to the message of the week, along with discussion questions for you and your family to dig into together. It's a great way to make the most of the opportunities that we have to engage with one another in this season.

The discussion questions found in the House Church Kit that go along with each week's sermon are a great way for middle school and high school students that are normally in the rhythm of engaging in discussion groups at Merge/The Vine, to engage in a conversation about the sermon as a family.

The house church kit will be uploaded/updated on Saturday of each week for the following day's message/sermon.
