MEMBER’S AUCTION - Tom’s GREAT auction of donated Chapter items is being expanded to allow members to enter items in the auction. So, load up your clock that strikes 13, unused tools, and parts and turn them into cash!
Rules for the Auction:
Seller - When checking in at the Registration desk, provide the description of your item(s) and any reserve price for your lot(s).
Pay a $5,00 non-refundable fee for each lot entered into the auction.
A lot can be one item or several under the same bid.
Note: At check-in, the auction limit is "2 lots" per member.
This is to keep the auction duration relatively short.
Buyer - At the end of the auction, settle up with the seller directly.
SHOW AND TELL… Members are invited to share their special finds, restoration project, weird or rare item and share a little information on the item or project with the group. Time is limited so we will limit the total time available for these sessions to 30 minutes total. Tell the registration desk staff at check-in if you will share your prized item or effort details!
UPDATES … We have major changes coming up for our Chapter Regional next Spring - a changed date and some new activities you will enjoy. We will share these changes and open up the discussion with a Q&A session.
Also, we will get an update on a possible Railroad Watch and Clock Exhibit for the Ronald McDonald House Toy Train display at North Park during the Christmas Holidays.
