On this Memorial Day, let us not only remember the combatants. There were also those who came out of the trenches as writers and poets, who started preaching peace, men and women who have made this world a kinder place to live. And for their courage and strength, we humbly thank them for their service.
On October 14, 2008, after two years of planning, fundraising and building Phase I, the Company F Memorial was dedicated to those soldiers at an emotional ceremony featuring surviving WWII Veterans as well as their families and local dignitaries. These men enlisted and trained at the Medina Armory for conflicts from 1898 to 1945 including the Spanish-American War, Mexican-American, World War I and World War II, as well as Company C from 1947-77. LPGA Amateurs Cup Registration Opens June 3
The registration for the the 2019 LPGA Amateurs Cup Regional Qualifiers will open on June 3 at 9:00pm EDT (8:00pm CDT, 7:00pm MDT and 6:00pm PDT). Detailed registration information can be found by logging into the Member Clubhouse, pressing My Events, then pressing the LPGA Amateurs Cup link.

Women on Par Scholarship Application Deadline is May 31
The deadline to apply for the 2019 Women on Par Scholarship Program is approaching, the last day to apply is May 31. This year the focus has been narrowed in order to have a more direct impact on our members and their family's lives. This year the LPGA Amateurs changed the eligibility requirements to only LPGA Amateur members, daughters and granddaughters of members.
Since its inception, the scholarship program has helped over 25 women realize their dreams. In 2019, two (2) scholarships will be awarded: one (1) $2,000 Women on Par scholarship and one (1) $1,000 Women on Par scholarship.

We cannot be at all outings, near or far, and do not always have the means for photo taking during events.
