Please join Nevada AAP Chapter Members Dr. Jinsy Jacob and Dr. Terence McAllister as they lead an interactive program outlining the use of the Announcement Approach, an evidence-based communication strategy used to recommend the HPV vaccine.
This program is led by Immunize Nevada and is free but does require advanced reservation. The educational event will be paired with a casual dinner.
CE credits will be available for nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists and physicians.
Chapter leaders and members can take advantage of this community health and advocacy visiting professorship opportunity to engage with an advocacy expert along with your residency program advocacy leaders. The program supports up to six accredited pediatric residency programs with a maximum of $4,500 each to implement two- or three-day programs focusing on resident education, faculty development, and building partnerships for community health and advocacy.
Marissa Di Giovine, MD, FAAP, and Maya Moody, DO, FAAP, will discuss the benefits of mentoring relationships and how to be active, productive mentors and mentees. They will also share personal experiences with mentorships, and how the AAP Mentorship Program provides structure.
Online meeting with pediatric endocrinologist, Dr.Kathy Eckert, and child and adolescent psychologist, Dr.Amy Hughes Lansing, to review your challenging pediatric cases for guidance and treatment recommendations.
