Message from the president:

Dear AFP colleagues and friends:
Well, we made it through the doldrums of February, phew! This month’s message will be brief as I stretched the word limit last month to write about the late Dr. Pearleen Oliver. Much of who I am today is predicated on knowing her.
So, March 20th is the spring equinox and with that we experience the joy of longer and longer days. I am so excited that the days will get longer and many of the COVID-19 restrictions we have been experiencing will lessen. With these restrictions lessening, our AFP Chapter will start to host some in-person events. Please follow our social media to learn about the opportunities to meet and learn more about best practices in our profession.
And, I have amazing news to share: the AFP Nova Scotia Chapter has been awarded the 2022 IDEA Champion designation and the 2022 Ten Star Gold Chapter Designation.
Have a wonderful start to spring!
