Health Screenings for Grades TK-8th

Thank you to all of the staff, students and RN volunteers (Michelle Hess, Beth Lipp and Nancy Coates) for helping with our health screenings. We were able to get through over 470 screenings in one week! This could not have been done without everyone's help so THANK YOU. Screening results will go home with parents in November during conferences. This will give us a chance to complete all needed rescreens. If you do not attend the conference in November, your child's results will be sent home in the mail.

Illnesses

As we start a new school year, we expect to see an increase in illnesses as we bring groups together, and this year is no different. To help us reduce illnesses throughout the school year:

  • Please be familiar with the Daily Health Check and HEAL Documents
  • Monitor for illnesses and COVID-19 symptoms
  • Stay home when sick - see Daily Health Check and HEAL documents. If you are staying home, parents must notify the school office 937-434-4933 or [email protected]  by 9am. It would be helpful for school monitoring to report your child's symptoms.
  • Get vaccinated
  • Encourage good hand washing and cough hygiene (sneezes and coughs should be covered)
  • Encourage cleaning measures and proper ventilation
  • If you test positive for COVID -19, please use our reporting tool COVID Notification Form

If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse at 937-660-4266 or [email protected]
