Fall Festival was a Blast!
Thank you to all of you who attended the 2019 Fall Festival! We definitely had a blast! Special thank you to all the wonderful volunteers including haunted house behind the scene workers, 5th grade actors/actresses, middle school, high school and parent volunteers. This event could not possibly have turned out so well without your time and dedication. And a huge thank you to this year's Fall Festival Chair Charanya Madan . She spent many hours to make this year's event a big success.

We also want to extend the special thank you to our team members who worked tirelessly to make this Fall Festival happen - Karin Hargrove, Britt Heath, Peggy Yu, Namita Sheokand, Sonali Bhargava, Jyoti Rasal, Chelsea Lientz and Lola LeBlanc .

Reflections: Cherry Crest Choice Award Winners
Thank you to all the Cherry Crest students, families, teachers, and staff that helped make the 2019-20 Reflections program such a success! What a privilege for all of us to display and to learn about the wonderful talent of our Cherry Crest student body! We hope to see even more entries from our students next year!

This year we had a total of 36 entries: 25 Visual Arts, 2 Photography, 3 Music Composition and 6 Literature entries from our K-5th graders. The results for the popular vote held Friday, October 25, for the Cherry Crest choice awards are as follows:

Winner in Visual Arts: Anagha Ramprasad (4th) Within Me
Runner-up in Visual Arts: Mitali Khairnar (3rd) Look Within
3rd Place in Visual Arts: Bella Yao (4th) Look Within from a Bottle’s Journey

Photography winner: Nitin Munugeti (5th) Growth Begins When You Look Within

Winner in Literature: Liba Mujtaba (5th) When I Look Within

Winner in Music composition: Hrishikesh Iyer (4th) violin  Listen to Yourself

Cherry Crest entries from all categories submitted will be sent to Bellevue PTSA Council. Bellevue PTSA Council judges will then select which entries will go on to compete at the Washington state level. Cherry Crest usually receives information from the Bellevue PTSA Council about which entries were chosen to go on to state between the second week of January and the second week of February. Once we receive this information, we will post it in the Charger Chatter along with the date Reflections entries will be returned.

Thanks again for all your hard work in making this year's Reflections program great!
