Preparing for Winter Weather and Snow Days
Snow is here! Visit the District webpage for more information on Emergency School Closure Information, including different school closure messages and what they mean. Get ready by making plans in case school is closed, delayed or closes early:

  • Where will my child go if help is needed?
  • Who will care for my child until I arrive?
Notes from Nurse Amy: When to Keep Sick Kids Home
Deciding when a child is too sick for school and activities programs be difficult! Here are some guidelines:

Okay to go to school if they only have the following:
  • Sniffles, a runny nose and a mild cough without a fever
  • Vague complaints of aches, pains or fatigue
  • Single episode of diarrhea without any other symptoms

Keep them home from school and from after school activities when:
