Auction Spotlight: Question of the Week
Do Both My Spouse and I Need to Attend the Event?
No! While many parents consider the auction to be a fun opportunity to get out of the house together, the auction is a community event first and foremost - you should absolutely feel free to come with a fellow parent, friend, or family member, especially if that simplifies childcare. In fact, we hope that everyone will encourage their friends to join them! When you purchase your ticket, there will be a place to specify friends that you'd like to sit with during dinner - name a friend or a group of friends, and we'll do our best to seat you together!

We look forward to seeing you there!

Make Your Voices Heard - Complete Surveys by March 24th
The Bellevue School District is conducting a survey on family engagement in order to strengthen relationships between schools and families. Creating meaningful partnerships with parents helps students succeed both academically and socially. When families engage, student attitudes and behavior are more positive, attendance is better, there are more opportunities to honor diverse cultural backgrounds, and open communication allows us to learn from each other.

Families will have received an email with a unique survey link from the survey platform (Panorama Education). The survey is only five questions and available in multiple languages. Please complete the survey by Tuesday, March 24th.

Survey results will be shared with all families in a State of BSD Family Engagement Report before the end of the school year. School administrators will receive results for their individual schools and, as a next step, will work alongside parents to create family engagement practices for school improvement plans for the 2020-2021 academic year.
