SCHOOL NEWS
Congratulations, to our very own, Kamron Brown!

Kam and his team (Team BACK) were first place winners in the  ComEd Create a Spark  HFS Chicago Scholars  program. The other members of Kam's team include Bryce Choice from De La Salle Institute along with Austin Ayite and Chris Iwuoha, from St. Patrick High School. All of these young men were interviewed and featured on ABC7 Eyewitness News on Sunday, July 7, 2019 for their innovative idea.

...St. Joseph High School taught me how to maintain a strong work ethic and encouraged me to be the best student I could be.
FIONA LEIVA

St. Joseph High School
Class of 2019 Valedictorian

Attending University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,
Gies College of Business
"Choosing St. Joseph High School provided me with an experience I wouldn’t have had anywhere else. At first I chose to attend the school because it was in my hometown and smaller than other schools in my area. As I began my high school experience I realized that St. Joe’s provided so much more than a convenient distance from home. Growing up in a small, tight-knit community provided me the opportunity to be recognized in a more personal way. I found that the support I received from teachers and administrators was unlike any other school. They taught me how to maintain a strong work ethic and encouraged me to be the best student I could. The St Joe’s community was also one that allowed me to express myself by participating in the Art Club and Theater, giving me fond memories that I will take with me into the next chapter of my life. Any student looking for a family-like atmosphere and a place to grow will find those qualities at St. Joseph High School."
