Middle School Sports and Archery Begin Today |
Fall 2022 Middle School Sports and Fall Archery begin this week! You can register here. Please register by today, Monday 8/15 so we can finalize participation, teams, and staffing.
Reach out to your coach for more details on a team communication app, and team calendar.
Fall Archery (coed, grades 4-12, all levels of experience)
Practices begin: Monday 8/15, 3:45-5:15 intro at the Arete range (southeast corner of campus)
2:30-4pm on Wednesdays
Archers will be placed in groups and practice 2-3x per week
Middle School
*MS Game Schedules will be developed by league admin in the next few weeks, stay tuned!
Flag Football (coed, grades 5-8)- Begins 8/15, 3:45-5:30pm
Practices: Mon, Tues, Thur 3:45-5:30pm
Volleyball (girls, grades 6-8))- Tryouts for all players: 8/15, 8/16 3:30-5:30pm

Arete Prep MS Flag Football is looking for one more head coach to lead our Chargers this fall. We have a large group of players out, and hope to form a third team, with a third coach, for more player opportunity. There is a stipend for the head coach position. High School Athletes- Complete AIA Required Courses for fall 2022
HS athletes- be proactive and complete your required AIA courses, so that you are 100% cleared for the sports season this fall. All high school athletes need to complete each of these courses one time in their high school career, and before they can compete. Incoming freshman or incoming transfers, use this AIA Academy Link to complete the Opioid test and the BrainBook Concussion course. Be sure to save a copy of your certificates, print them, and bring them into the athletics office.

2. Every athlete must submit a physical on the approved AIA 22-23 Physical paperwork Physicals are good for 12 months and must be resubmitted annually.
3. Submit the athletic fee. All middle school sports (including archery) are $270. All high school sports are $310. Visit Conigio to Pay for Sports by debit/credit card online, or you may submit cash or check (made out to Arete Prep) to the front office.
4. (HS ONLY) If not previously completed, every high school athlete must complete the AIA Brainbook and Opiod Courses The AIA will notify Arete electronically once the student has successfully completed the course. High school athletes are required to complete this course only once during their high school career.
All items must be completed and turned in before your student may participate in their sport.
