 Charger Volleyball to Host "Volley for a Cure" on 10/16

Join us this Wednesday, 10/16  for Charger Volleyball's "Volley For a Cure." We are going to pink out the gym as Frosh volleyball takes on Scottsdale Prep at 5pm and Varsity plays Cibecue at 6pm. Proceeds from the night will be donated to Arete Prep's Ausdemore family, as they walk in the  "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk, benefiting the American Cancer Society. The walk takes place in Tempe on October 26th.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students, and the concession stand will be open.
Come out and pack the Marley is support of this great cause, and our volleyball Chargers!

  Winter Sports Begin 11/4, Register Now! 

The Arete Prep 2019-20 winter sports season is just around the corner. Middle school and high school sports begin 11/4. Please be proactive in registering for winter athletics. It really helps us guage interest, number of teams, and helps with staffing.

        Adam Whitehead- SR- Varsity Cross Country 

Adam is hitting his stride as the XC season hits it's peak. He won the Glendale Showcase Varsity 5,000m in a time of 16:41. He followed that up with a second place finish at the Titan Invite at Freestone Park on 10/11. His work ethic and dedication to the sport continue to inspire his teammates as they push for state qualification! Congratulations Adam!

CALENDARS - Practices & Competitions

You may now visit East Valley Sports (6306 East Main Street, Mesa, 85205) to inquire about ordering an Arete Prep Varsity Jacket. We have redesigned the Varsity Letter that was distributed at Fall Sports Awards. IF YOU ARE ORDERING A JACKET, please contact Coach Conklin to receive the new letter. Please keep in mind that jackets take 7-8 weeks for production. We are very excited to see school pride represented in Varsity Jackets around campus! Jackets are dress code approved but may only be worn by the owner.

1. Complete the Athletic Online Enrollment. (Must be completed by a parent/guardian.) 

2. Every athlete must submit a physical on the approved AIA Physical Forms. Physicals are good for 12 months and must be resubmitted annually. 

3. Submit the athletic fee. All middle school sports (including archery) are $250. All high school sports are $290. Select Online Payment to pay by debit/credit card online, or you may submit cash, check, or money to the front office. 

4. (HS ONLY) If not previously completed, every high school athlete must complete the Brainbook Concussion Course. The AIA will notify Arete electronically once the student has successfully completed the course. High school athletes are required to complete this course only once during their high school career. 

All items must be completed and turned in before your student may participate in their sport.
