Afterschool Program Enrollment Open
Enrollment is already open for select programs, with additional classes opening registration throughout the week!

SJ Chess Club (K–3rd)

Band Students Wanted!
Judy Nelson will teach the After-School Band program for Cherry Chase students in Grades 3, 4, and 5. Students will learn how to play one of the following instruments: flute, clarinet, trumpet, alto saxophone, trombone and percussion.
- Beginner Band: Tue & Thu 3:50 - 5:10pm
- Intermediate Band: Tue & Thu 4:50 to 6:10pm

Drama Registration for 2nd - 3rd Grade Opens 8/26!
This year, for the first time, After-school Drama at Cherry Chase will be open to 2nd and 3rd Graders! We will be performing the musical Dare to Dream Jr., an exciting revue featuring beloved Disney songs new and old. This program runs from 9/9 to 11/20. Rehearsals are Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:40 - 4:30. There are 60 available spots in the program, divided into two casts who will each perform twice.
Tech week (extended rehearsal) runs from 11/16 - 11/18 from 2:40 until approximately 7:30 PM. Show times are 11/19 and 11/20 at 4:30 and 7:00 PM. Attendance at tech week and both shows is mandatory! Tech week and performances fall right before Thanksgiving break; please ensure your student will be available to attend tech week and both performance days before registering.

Bring Art to Cherry Chase Kids - Volunteer for SPARK
SPARK is Cherry Chase Elementary School’s parent-led visual arts program. Over the course of five years, K-5th grade students take an art-themed journey guided by curriculum and explore six fun lessons learning about and creating art. Each lesson introduces an art concept (like line, shape, or color) and highlights diverse artists and their engaging art. Join the SPARK program - volunteers are welcome anytime! Become an ABC Readers volunteer
Are you interested in getting to know the kids in your child's classroom? The Project Cornerstone ABC Readers program is a great way to get involved! Volunteers read a book, lead discussions and conduct activities. We’ll be reading 7 books this year, with in-class sessions starting in late September or October. Training is provided, volunteer clearance required. Sign up here!

Support Cherry Chase Teachers - Join the Hospitality Team
Do you like to shower your kids' teachers with appreciation? We're looking for parents who can do tasks like buy donuts and coffee, set up Teacher Trimester Treats, and pick up/set up Staff Dinners, etc. Many hands make light work!
