Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Behold! The first monthly newsletter of our Charging Forward in Faith and Education capital campaign is here! In our communications plan for the campaign, we will send out a newsletter updating everyone on the planning, fundraising, or building progress of the campaign. The Leadership Committee of the campaign, the various councils, boards, and staff members of the Church and School, and donors to the campaign will be receiving this e-newsletter. The list of recipients will expand each month!
My letter each month will highlight one area of the campaign but the information that follows will be the most important content. Presently, we are in our silent phase. This does not mean that it is secretive, but that we are not publicly announcing that we are in a capital campaign mode (thermometer on Montgomery Crossroad, big signs in the narthex, billboards, website and social media posts, etc…). The silent phase gives us a chance to refine our goal and plan the public phase. We are visiting with members of the Leadership Committee, School Advisory Board, Parish Pastoral Council, Parish Finance Council, Feasibility Study participants, and other parishioners who can help us create momentum by providing initial commitments. These visits help us refine our goals and Charge Forward! See you soon!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Daniel F. Firmin

God our Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your abundant blessings bestowed upon us
and the good work you have begun in our community of St. James the Less.
Standing upon all You have done,
we rejoice in the future You lay before us.
May we charge forward in faith and education,
being formed as disciples of Jesus Christ, Your Son,
striving for excellence in all we do,
and growing in faith, hope, and love.
Through the intercession of St. James the Less, Your Apostle,
may we be generous in sharing all that we are and all that You have given us.
Help our dreams become realities, O Lord,
and let all we do and build glorify Your Name.
Amen.
