 Charity Dog Wash This
Sunday...!
11am-4pm @ Doggy
Style!
The
season of giving begins this Sunday when Doggy Style Pet Shop will be
washing dogs to benefit the wonderful
organization Greyhounds Only! (And to benefit your visiting family
over the Thanksgiving holiday. Noone wants the smell of the dog to
overpower the smell of the turkey!)
With a $20
donation to Greyhounds Only, our volunteers will brush out,
shampoo, condition and blow dry your dog. We'll even clean the
ears.
This is a
popular event at Doggy Style and advance reservations do fill up
fast, so email us or give us a call (773-235-9663) to
reserve your time slot. We'll also be accepting walk-ins all
day!
Greyhounds Only is a no-kill rescue
organization based in Illinois and Wisconsin, and dedicated to
helping place homeless greyhounds in forever homes. We love this
organization and the things they do!

With Santa!
The stockings have been hung, the lights
have been lit - and the chimney is shaking because Santa is here!
Bring your pet to Doggy Style for photos with Santa on
Saturday, December 4th from 12pm-4pm! For a $10 donation
to ALIVE Rescue and Sanctuary, we'll print out a great pic of your pet
with Santa while you wait. AND we'll email you electronic copies
of all your pets' best shots! To reserve a slot for photos with
Santa, call 773-235-9663 or email us. Walk-ins are welcome!

| 2nd Annual Shelter Shiver...
On January 1st, Alive Rescue, Project Rescue
and American Greyhound will be holding the 2nd Annual Shelter
Shiver. At this event, seemingly sane people strip down to their
skivvies and jump in Lake Michigan! In January!
We LOVE the idea of this event, and Doggy
Style Pet Shop would like to sponsor up to 5 individuals who are
crazy enough to do it! Stop in to Doggy Style Pet Shop and we'll
help you register, and pay your $50 donation fee. In addition, you
can solicit donation from your friends! This event always gets TV
coverage, so if you want to be famous AND help homeless pets, here
is the place to do it!
The event takes place on January 1 at 8:00am
and there are varying levels of participation that you can choose.
Congrats to those who do the Shiver Swim (full plunge)! I'm cold
just thinking about it... :) If you'd like t participate and help
raise money just let us know as we would love to sponsor
you!
