Hello Ladies of the Daughters of Erin,
If you are new to the Daughters of Erin, every year we use the monies we earn throughout the year to help Central Ohio non-profit organizations that are helping others. We ask our members to nominate organizations that might benefit from this support.
Nominations for charity donations are due by 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct 5, to any Board member or email cherylcostello@yahoo.com. We look forward to seeing you Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. for the October meeting.

OCTOBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING
The October meeting is Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. at Trinity School, Saint Christopher Church.
Hospitality asks us to bring favorite orange or black goodies (carrots to chocolate, :-) for the October to the meeting. Thank you, Patty and Maureen.

CHARITIES
We are accepting applications for the annual charity donations. If you know of a central Ohio nonprofit organization in need of financial assistance, please send a letter to a Board Member by Wednesday, Oct. 5 or email cherylcostello@yahoo.com.
We are collecting donations for the Marine Corps Family Support Community in October. The website is marinecorpsfamilysc.org and a Facebook page @ Marine Corps Family Support Community.
The need is for the following items:
- "Jif to go" packets
- Beef jerkey
- Pop Tarts
- Individual cereal boxes, bags of nuts, trail mix, raisins, crackers or cookies
- Protein Bars
In November & December, we will be collecting for our adopt-a-families. If you know of a family that needs assistance during the holidays, please contact Cheryl. All participants will be kept confidential.

DART LEAGUE BEGINS THIS WEEK
The Daughters of Erin Dart League begins this week! Ladies play on the first and third Thursdays each month. You must be a member in good standing in one of the Irish groups, DOE, LAOH, Emerald Society or Shamrock Club, and pay dart dues of $5.00 per year. We play for fun and friendship, even if you've never darted before, you will definitely have a great time learning how to dart!

TRIP TO IRELAND 2023
Kevin Cain of The Hooligans is planning a trip to Ireland, May 6-15, 2023.
He is working with CIC Tours to organize the trip, based on 40 people going, the 8cost will be approximately $2800 per person, the price may change based on how many people are going.

PRAYER LINE
Please keep our members and those on the prayer list in your thoughts and prayers. There are many people on the prayer list, please join us in prayer for healing and blessings, we will update the list in the Echo of Erin.
Please pray for peace around the world and continue to pray for all. We also pray for all those in the military, police and healthcare workers.
