We are happy to share with you the fourth issue of Charity in Motion, our digital newsletter designed to keep friends of the SC Community connected to the mission and ministries of the Sisters of Charity. The SC Communications Office has recently launched our new congregational website! We encourage you to visit places of interest to you, especially opportunities through the Spirituality Center or calendar items of interest. We are pleased with responses received so far – ease of navigation, opportunities to request Sisters’ prayers and the search function, to name a few. May you find your visits and viewings welcoming! Throughout the summer we encourage you to join us in remembering the asylum seekers on our southern border. Bring your prayers, reflective spirit and generous heart to learn more about this dire situation.

Upcoming Event - How Can I Keep From Singing?
Melannie Svoboda, SND
August 4-10, 2019
If we are in touch with God’s great love for us, our hearts will be filled with song. This retreat will focus on some of the ways we can nourish our song and our Christian discipleship: through love of nature, prayer, friendship, compassion, service, playfulness, gratitude, letting go, laughter, art, courage during pain and sorrow, and hope.

Using Scripture, music, stories, poetry, and short videos we will hopefully deepen our relationship with a God who loves us more than we can imagine.

The retreat opens at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4 and ends with the noon meal on Saturday, Aug. 10. To register visit http://www.srcharitycinti.org/spirit/images/SC%20Summer%20Retreats%
