Match Madness Finals
Thanks to all of our generous donors, the annual Match Madness matching gift campaign brought in $1,740 to The Charles Bruce Foundation in the month of March. Further thanks goes out to Partnership for Better Health for matching this donation. We applaud this organization's mission to make a difference - together!
Priscilla's Saga Continues
We are excited to announce that book three of the Priscilla series, Priscilla and the Bishop's Gambit, ships May 14, 2021. The continuing story of Priscilla brings the challenging subject of homelessness to young adult readers, enlightening them through the life of a community figure the children of the book come to love and respect. This truly is a book that children everywhere should have the opportunity to read. Speaking of which, you can sponsor a classroom of students to receive this book at cost. If you are interested in specific details, please contact Pat LaMarche at her email address below.
Veterans Outreach for Invisible
We are looking for veterans organizations that would be willing to support Invisible. For those of you unfamiliar with this project, it started when one of the nation's finest comic book artists, Jason Seaux, wanted to draw a comic book with a homeless hero. He contacted Pat LaMarche to write the story. While she has written children's books about homelessness, adult books about homelessness, and run shelters full of every kind of person experiencing homelessness, Pat had never written a comic book. She contacted her favorite comic and comedic genius, her brother, Phil. Together with her husband, Chad Bruce, who was commissioned as the comic colorist, the group is nearing completion of the first edition of this comic.

If you belong to a VFW, Amvets, or other service-related organization and think they would be interested in sponsoring our project, please send us the name and address so we can contact them. $500 gets them 40 copies and a mention within the book. If you are able to help provide contacts for this project, please contact Pat LaMarche at her email address above.
