Opportunities for Artists
Interested in opportunities for artists? More are posted online.
More details for the two below can be found by clicking on the titles.

Before Midnight on Nov. 27, artists can participate in a really fun and beneficial program with the Tampa Bay Rays. Because the Rays market area is broad, they are recruiting artists from Charlotte, Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Polk and Sarasota Counties.
  • The artists are being paid $1,000 for their work.
  • The Rays are not asking artists to submit designs for consideration. Rather, the artists explains why they are interested/excited about participating and submit a CV and work samples.
  • Once the artist is picked for the project, the commission is theirs. There is no second stage application process. So the Rays are making it easy
  • In addition to payment of $1,000 the Rays treat the artists wonderfully. They provide a sky box with full bar, food and room for 10 to 12 friends or family. They feature the artist in marketing before and during the game, and create a really fun experience.

Nine artists will receive $80,000 in prizes and be part of an exhibition of the winners. The application deadline is Dec. 3.
