Charter Authorizing Panel Meeting 

August 13th

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel met for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on August 13th, 2024. The panel works to oversee the "authorization, renewal, revision, and revocation of charters."

III.1. Consideration of Garfield Scholars' Academy's Amendment Request

The panel approved the Garfield Scholars' Academy request for a waiver of Standards for Accreditation 4-E.1 and 4-E.3 Guidance Counselors and Section 3.01.1.1 of the DESE Rules Governing School Counseling Programs for the 2024-2025 school year.
