Charter Authorizing Panel Meeting 

May 15th

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel met for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on May 15th, 2024. The panel works to oversee the "authorization, renewal, revision, and revocation of charters."

In this month's meeting, the panel considered and acted upon the agenda items detailed below.

III.1. Hope Academy of Northwest Arkansas

The panel approved the Hope Academy of Northwest Arkansas request for a waiver of Ark. code Ann. § 6-10-106(a)(1)(A) Uniform dates for beginning and end of school year.  

III.2. Friendship Aspire Academy North Little Rock

The panel approved the Friendship Aspire Academy North Little Rock request for a change of the current grade levels served from Grades K-5 to Grades K-3.  

III.3. eStem Public Charter School 

The panel approved the eStem Public Charter School request for a change to the grade levels served from Grades 7-9 (Junior High) and Grades 10-12 (High School) to Grades 7-8 (Junior High) and Grades 9-12 (High School).
