The Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel met for its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on February 13th, 2024. The panel works to oversee the "authorization, renewal, revision, and revocation of charters."
In this month's meeting, the panel considered and acted upon the agenda items detailed below.

III.1. Bentonville School for Advanced Studies Charter Amendment Request
The panel approved the charter request to:
- Change the school district where the charter will be located from Bentonville School District to Rogers School District.
- Change the name of the charter from Bentonville School for Advanced Studies to School for Advanced Studies-Northwest Arkansas.

III.2. Pulaski County Special School District Charter Rescission Letter for Driven Virtual Academy
The panel approved the Pulaski County Special School District request to rescind the charter at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. All associated waivers will be rescinded at that time.
