Chassis Changes

Following the recent announcement from FlexiVan and ONE, we would like to provide you with an update on Yusen Terminals' revised chassis provision process and access.

Starting tomorrow, the new chassis environment at Yusen Terminals will be implemented with the following key features and procedures:

 

  • Our main chassis pit and YTI East areas will feature two separate chassis IEP options: POP and FLXP. 
  • Routing tickets will specify where drivers are to pick up each chassis type. 
  • It is the driver’s responsibility to know which type of chassis is required before arriving at the terminal
  • Drivers should pay close attention to the ticket details
  • Our website’s chassis section will display inventory by size and type, clearly separating POP and FLXP options.
  • We encourage dispatchers to review our website chassis details before sending drivers
