A school in Virginia Beach ordered a custom acrylic aquarium from one of our suppliers and was expecting a blue acrylic background. Somehow, this did not get conveyed to the builder and the school does not want the aquarium without the blue background. This aquarium measures 60x16x24 and is made out of 1/2" acrylic on the sides and 3/8" acrylic on the top and bottom. It is all clear acrylic and does not have an overflow. This aquarium normally sells for $988.00, but since it has already been uncrated, the supplier is afraid it would be damaged in an attempt to have it shipped back to them and have indicated to us that they are willing to take a hit on it if we or someone we know would be interested in driving to Virginia Beach to pick it up. We do not currently need the aquarium, nor have the time to drive to Va. Beach, so we are offering it to any of you who may have an interest in this custom aquarium at a great price of $600.00. If interested, we would receive your payment, give directions and coordinate your pick up at the school in Virginia Beach and provided it met your inspection, we would forward the funds to the supplier. We received a great selection of new fish, corals and other critters from Quality Marine this morning as well as 50 very cute dwarf seahorses from the Keys. Additional boxes will be arriving from Sea Dwelling Creatures and another one of our preferred suppliers on Wednesday and Thursday, so selection will be great all week.
Our CLEARANCE SALE continues on the used equipment items until they are gone. Our intern and newest employee, Jeanette did a great job of relocating and organizing this equipment in the Freshwater area of the store yesterday evening. Take a quick peek the next time you are in and see if there is something you can use.
