Will You Support Downtown Cheboygan?

The City of Cheboygan is applying to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) for consideration to become a Michigan Main Street Program Select Level Community.  This is a highly competitive selection process.  Only 3 communities are chosen each year.  Currently the City is in the "engaged" level of this program and is now ready to move on to the Select Level.  To apply for the next step, the community must provide letters of support from volunteers and business owners, as well as offer pledges of support financially.   Attached is the pledge sheet as well as sample letters of support.  Please consider endorsing /supporting this effort.  All documents must be sent to Kirsten Guenther, Downtown Enhancement Administrator - 403 N. Huron, PO Box 39, Cheboygan, MI  49721 OR email:  kguenther@cheboygan.org.

Deadline for submissions is:  Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  Thank you for your support in this revitalization effort for Downtown Cheboygan!

A note from the Chamber......The Cheboygan Area Chamber of Commerce fully endorses this effort by the City of Cheboygan and would encourage anyone who has a love for Cheboygan and an enthusiasm for a strong, vibrant downtown core in our community, to write a letter of support for this program.  The more letters Kirsten has to include in our application, the more competitive Cheboygan will be in our bid for this economically trans formative program from the State of Michigan.
