Q: How often should I have my filter cleaned?
A: It's recommended that DE and Cartridge filters be cleaned twice a year (depending on size of filter and environment, cartridge filters may need more often). We suggest cleaning in the fall and again in the spring. Sand filters require a sand change every 3-5 years.
Just a friendly reminder to clean your skimmer and pump baskets a couple times per week. Don't forget to check for any cracks or breaks. If you need a replacement basket let us know. We have them in stock!
