Sign up for the White Lake Library's White Lake Library's Beanstack reading tracker  to participate in the 1000 Books before Kindergarten Challenge, Summer Reading Challenges, year round reading goals, and more!

There's still time to join the fun with Winter Reading Bingo! The challenge continues until March 18th!

Thank you to the Huron Valley Community Coalition for bringing in a variety of Mental Wellness supplies for our library teens to enjoy including bookmarks, fun erasers, a variety of fidget toys, mini Rubik's cubes, slinkies, stickers, journals, washi tape, pens, coloring utensils, and giant pipe cleaners! Items are free to take on the carts in the Teen space. Keep an eye out for some posters we will be adding soon as well!

OverDrive app users! Have you tried the Libby app yet? It's the newer, easier reading app from OverDrive, with lots of features you'll love. In April 2023, the OverDrive app will be discontinued, so upgrade to Libby today. Get in-app support with any questions you may have or ask one of our librarians for assistance!

LOTE Online for Kids is an online database of digital picture books in World Languages, allowing kids to enjoy books and learn language through the magic of storytelling. 2000+ digital books in over 50+ languages are available!

Volunteer Opportunities

The White Lake Township Library has a wide variety of assistance needed. All volunteers must complete an application and have it approved before volunteering. 

Applications should be emailed directly to Heather Clark, Administrative Assistant, at [email protected].

We are especially in need of gardening volunteers for our Landscape group.

Reservable Spaces

The Gathering Place and Idea Lab are available to rent! 

When not in use for Library programs, meetings, and other Library purposes, the Gathering Place and Idea Lab are available to non-profit, community, educational, civic, and cultural groups; and businesses in White Lake Township provided their meetings are open to the general public. To apply for a room reservation you must be a White Lake Township Library card holder in good standing who is 18 years old or older.
