West African Kora Concert

Sean Gaskell will give a performance and educational demonstration on the kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa. He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s musical repertoire.

The Gathering Place and Idea Lab are available to rent!
When not in use for Library programs, meetings, and other Library purposes, the Gathering Place and Idea Lab are available to non-profit, community, educational, civic, and cultural groups; and businesses in White Lake Township provided their meetings are open to the general public. To apply for a room reservation you must be at least 18 years old and be a White Lake Township Library card holder in good standing.

The White Lake Township Library has a wide variety of assistance needed. All volunteers must complete an application and have it approved before volunteering.
Applications should be emailed directly to Heather Clark, Administrative Assistant, at hclark@whitelakelibrary.org.
We are especially in need of gardening volunteers for our Landscape group.
