The post-screen-time meltdown is no joke. For many parents, it’s a daily occurrence—the moment the TV, iPad or Nintendo shuts down is the moment the screams, whines and tears begin. There is a biological reason for this dramatic, seemingly uncontrollable response. Click here to find out how to better handle ending screen time with your children.
Snack Drive success!!  Thanks to Park School Families for an awesome snack drive! We raised $225 from the snack drive and were able to restock the snack bins in the classrooms and office. Snacks are provided when students forget to bring a snack for the day. Thanks for being our partner in education!

KICK-START KINDNESS
Set a positive and caring tone by asking your child to tell you: “One good thing in my life is. . . .” or "Something good that happened is . . .” Tell him or her that the thing can be big or small; for example, last night they had pizza for dinner or someone got a pet turtle. Once they have shared share your own good thing.
