A MESSAGE FROM HIGHPOINT COLLIERVILLE

Highpoint Collierville Family,

Welcome to our weekly e-news, your source for everything Highpoint - upcoming events, teaching series, serve opportunities, updates, information, milestones, and everything in between! There's a little something here for everyone....
SHOUT OUT: WHEN GOD GIVES A COMPLIMENT
December 2015 @ 9:00am + 10:45am | Lead Pastor Chris Conlee

Join us this Sunday as Lead Pastor Chris Conlee is back with us to continue the Shout Out series.

When God thinks about you, what does He think? Most people see God in a negative light instead of a positive light, but God is a Father who longs to give His children compliments. Compliments are powerful, and they make a difference; they are all about acceptance and appreciation - they validate one's value and inspire people to persevere and press on. All of us want to live a life that can be affirmed.... so, what exactly is it that God compliments?

HIGHPOINT CHURCH + SCHILLING FARMS MERGER UPDATE

We are excited to welcome The Church at Schilling Farms to the Highpoint Church family! This past Sunday, the vote from TCASF to merge with Highpoint Church passed. We are humbled and grateful they have entrusted us with their confidence to build upon the foundation they have laid.

More information will come soon on how you can be involved and next steps for our launch day on January 10, 2016 in our new church home at 1035 Winchester Blvd. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue praying with us as we embark on this new journey.  The best is yet to come for both churches, and we look forward to what God has in store.

We want to thank all of you who have given to the mission of Highpoint this year. Thank you for embracing one of our core values: grateful people give. God has provided abundantly, and we are humbled at His marvelous work in and through His people. None of this would be possible without your investment of tithes and offerings in the ministry of Highpoint.

If you're considering additional charitable contributions by the end of the year, please consider a year-end gift to Highpoint. We promise the vision and need is great.
Please note, for tax purposes, all donations must be received or postmarked by December 31, 2015.

LOVE WORKS WITH CHRIS AND KARIN CONLEE

Chris and Karin continue the discussion of possibility thinking and how this relates to serving others. They talk about how intentionally serving others is the primary way to change a person's beliefs and how we as Christians can form the right plan to execute God's vision for our lives. Tune in to Chris and Karin Conlee's latest Love Works podcast, Possibility Thinking | Part 2, for more on exactly what that means.

While you're at it,  subscribe to the Love Works podcast on iTunes, and you'll get fresh content delivered every other Monday.
LEAD LIKE JESUS PODCAST

Listen to the latest Lead Like Jesus  podcast , where Chris and Karin Conlee host a conversation with Kemmons Wilson Jr. Kemmon's family founded the Holiday Inn chain, and he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Wilson Hotel Management. In this podcast, Kemmons talks about what it was like growing up as a son of a very successful father, and how the lessons he's learned helped him to launch his own business. Kemmons shares how his belief that God designed each of us uniquely helped him become secure "in his own skin" instead of living in his father's shadow.
