Exclusive Screening of Apollo 11
Skygazing: Man on the Moon | July 12
From director Todd Douglas Miller (Dinosaur 13) comes a cinematic event fifty years in the making. Crafted from a newly discovered trove of 65mm footage, and more than 11,000 hours of uncatalogued audio recordings, Apollo 11 takes us straight to the heart of NASA’s most celebrated mission—the one that first put men on the moon, and forever made Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin into household names. This exclusive screening will begin at 6:00pm and shown in large format in the Alan L. Bean Planetarium at the Talcott Mountain Science Center.
Extend your visit and save when you join them for Stargazing: Man on the Moon, part of their First Footsteps on the Moon event, immediately following the film. Bring the whole family to the mountain and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing.
