Buckler Receives Pride & Quality Award for Community Vaccine Support
Research Specialist Ruthie Buckler is being recognized with a Pride & Quality award for her exceptional efforts to spearhead the development of the COVID-19 vaccine preregistration portal in Zendesk. Ruthie spent countless hours over many months in collaboration with Community Resources, Economic Development, the Calvert County Health Department, contractors and many others to collect and share vital information.
Within one month of opening the portal, nearly 27,000 citizens registered for the COVID-19 vaccine. Through her tremendous efforts, thousands of local seniors were vaccinated early, moving us another step closer to reopening our senior centers and improving the quality of life for Calvert Seniors. Thank you for your service, Ruthie!
