Calls for submissions/RFPs
Northville Art House in Northville, Mich. announces a  call to artists for a juried small art exhibition, Nov. 1-30, 2019. Up to $650 in awards will be presented, including 1st-4th place and Honorable Mentions. Artists 18 and over may submit a maximum of six (6) works of art created within the last three (3) years and not previously exhibited at the Art House.  Submission deadline is Sept. 15,11:59 p.m. EST.   Get more info

Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, Ingham Counties (CMHA-CEI) announces call to artists for artwork to display within their conference rooms at 812 E. Jolly Road. They are seeking artworks of the following inland lakes, rivers and streams: Lake St. Claire, Lake Lansing, Lake Charlevoix, Higgins Lake, Houghton Lake, Duck Lake, Burt Lake, Mullett Lake, Leelanau Lake, Lake Ovid (Sleep Hollow State Park), Grand River, Thornapple River, Red Cedar River, Looking Glass River, and Sycamore Creek. Average Art Magazine announces a call to artists.  Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Their goal is to draw attention to self-representing artists. They are now taking entries for the October edition of Average Art Magazine.  Send them a large digital image of your work and any information you think is relevant. Embracing Our Differences annual juried international competition announces a call to artists. The exhibition will include 50 billboard-size images reflecting the theme "enriching lives through diversity and inclusion." Deadline to apply is Oct. 8, 2019. Monmouth Museum Petopia! juried art holiday exhibition will feature  depictions of creatures big and small covered in fur, feathers and scales to celebrate the loving bond between pets and their owners as well as the universal affection for the natural beauty and majestic power of all animals. Lansing Storytellers Project is seeking storytellers to lift up all voices in our community! They are  looking for people to share true, personal stories on stage. Their goal is to curate stories that are illuminating, that create empathy, are insightful, reflect change and bring us closer as a community.
