USF Joins Forces with TheDream.US to Support Students
The University of St. Francis has launched a new partnership with TheDream.US to enroll students and provide National Scholarships to undocumented youth — sometimes referred to as Dreamers — who are looking for access to higher education, but cannot access federal financial aid.
“The National Scholarship provides a student with up to $8,250 per year in tuition, with USF covering the remaining cost,” said Eric Ruiz, admissions director at USF.
“Providing students from any background or culture, including the children of immigrants, with access to a college education is strongly aligned with USF’s mission,” Ruiz said. “This is who we are and how we serve.”
The partnership is expected to draw more than 50 applicants to USF this fall. Click here for more information.

Thank You for Supporting USF on Giving Tuesday
The University of St. Francis would like to thank its alumni, employees and the community for supporting USF students on Giving Tuesday, which took place nationally on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.
USF kicked off Giving Tuesday with Scott Slocum on WJOL-AM 1340 as USF Vice President for University Advancement Lisa Sampalis , Vice President for Administration and Finance Julee Gard and USF Vice President of Mission Integration and University Ministry Sr. Mary Elizabeth Imler, OSF, discussed the origins and impact of the USF Student Emergency Fund, which was supported by this year's Giving Tuesday gifts. This fund is CRITICALLY important because it provides current students with a one-time gift of $500 to address cases of severe hardship associated with unanticipated needs such as food assistance, testing and clinical fees, temporary transportation and housing. Thank you for your support of USF students on Giving Tuesday and, of course, for being a SAINT.
