Inspiring Better Health in 2024

As we embark on the journey of 2024, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering commitment and exceptional care you provide to our patients. Your dedication to their well-being is the cornerstone of our success as a healthcare team.

Let’s Set Goals!

Setting goals is a long held tradition at the beginning of a new year. Working in the healthcare industry provides a grand opportunity for all of us to set personal and professional goals. Setting personal goals may include preventing burnout and enhancing work-life balance. Some of our professional goals could include leading by example or leadership growth. Achieving personal and professional goals instills a sense of accomplishment in our lives and the quality care we provide for our patients.

Set Goals, Complete the Mission!

As an enterprise, our mission remains. We are connecting the best doctors, service, and quality. Every patient, every time. To help us complete our mission, we continue to provide the best care possible to our patients, including our high acuity patients. We work tirelessly together to help these patients stay out of the hospital. If one of our patients does have a hospital visit, we ensure post-discharge follow-up appointments are made in a timely manner. We capitalize on opportunities at check out to schedule our patients for proactive follow-up appointments. Let’s continue to reach our goals in helping our high acuity patients and all our patients live the best healthier version of themselves this year.

As we navigate the complexities of healthcare, let us remember the profound impact we have on individuals, our communities and each other. Every one of us plays an instrumental part in a successful 2024. Whether you're on the front lines or supporting from behind the scenes, our collaboration is vital in providing effective and empathetic healthcare delivery. Together, we make a difference. Each act of compassion, every moment of expertise, and the genuine care you extend to our patients resonate far beyond what happens within our practices. Thank you for your dedication, passion, and the incredible work you do for not only our patients but for each other. Here's to a successful and fulfilling year ahead, as we continue to work together in providing the highest standard of care. Together, we are better.

Celebrates Civil Rights Day!

Civil Rights Day, or Martin Luther King Jr. Day, is celebrated each year to “commemorate and honor the life, legacy, and impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”

Dr. King continues to inspire people across the world to work towards a more diverse and inclusive societies.

Pikabot Malware Spreading

Through Phishing Campaigns

Researchers at Trend Micro warn that a threat actor known as “Water Curupira” is distributing a Pikabot malware loader via widespread phishing campaigns. Pikabot is a multi-stage malware used to install a variety of malware strains, particularly by a ransomware company called Black Basta.

After compromising an initial email account, the threat actor uses thread hijacking to trick additional users into opening malicious attachments. The threat actors who send these emails use thread hijacking, a technique where threat actors use existing email threads and create emails that look like they were meant to be part of the thread to trick recipients into believing that they are coming from a reliable source.

Patients Share Their Appreciation For Our Physicians, Advanced Providers, and Team Members!

A very happy patient wrote a wonderful letter about the care he received from Jean-Paul Alishahi, DO, and Nurse Tracey at the Advanced Care Clinic!

Jean-Paul Alishahi, DO

Good Morning,

I wanted to communicate my experience with the level of service and approach that I received yesterday from your new care clinic on Metro Parkway in Fort Myers, Florida. I had a colonoscopy and developed AFIB during the procedure. I was referred to the Advanced Care Clinic because I am a Millennium client.

The level of service and care that was given from the minute I got there until I left was nothing short of UNBELIEVABLE! It was attentive, personalized, and transparent, along with being very efficient.

If this type of service and care could be replicated it would put EVERY health care provider out of business! I am so happy that I was lucky enough to be exposed to Dr. "A" and his nurse Tracey.

I am not a health care expert, but I am a businessman who has had over 300 employees. I can assure you that you have the right formula for success. I understand that the Advanced Care Clinic is a pilot program, but I would recommend that it become a mainstream effort on your part.

Please let them know that I appreciate them and I also wanted to make sure that you also know that I am a Millennium client for life based on this type of service!

Dr. Gower and his team received beautiful commendation from one of our patients.

Being a retired director of a clinical service, I know the importance of a good front desk team and I want to compliment yours.

Recently I have had two issues handled by Rachel, Kathy and Courtney. They are consistently professional, approachable and they follow through. Today I dealt with the medical assistant, Deb. She presented with these same qualities. In this age of managed care, it is nice to know that my medical care is in your hands and the Millennium team. Thanks to everyone for ALL you do!

Frank Vina, MD

Dr. Vina is very nice and took the time to talk to me about the medical plan that will help me cope with my symptoms.

Robert Abbate, DO

Dr. Abbate was very knowledgeable and his bedside manner was great. His sense of humor made me feel like I knew him forever.

Andrew Ingram, MD

Dr. Ingram is amazing! He listens, informs, comforts when necessary and genuinely shows he cares! He is a very skilled diagnostician and makes sure he is on the same page as his patient. A rare find these days! I can’t thank him enough!

Chris Herrington, Physical Therapist in Fort Myers

Chris Herrington is a remarkable Physical Therapist! He is patient, knowledgeable, and kind-hearted.
