Thank You Millennium and Happy Holiday Season!
As we share these holidays and the new year, we can take some time to reflect on the events we have faced over the years. We overcame COVID-19, a global pandemic that shook our world in healthcare and our personal lives. We endured Hurricane Ian, a storm that devastated many of our homes and communities. Our Millennium team has stood together and is strong through all these challenging times. We also need to thank our team members' families who have been on this journey with all of us. Remember, we are not just a collection of individuals but internally and externally interconnected. Behind each team member stands a supportive family and community. To them, we extend our most profound appreciation for their support.
Along with the challenging times we have encountered, we are proud of our accomplishments together. In part, we have made our CARES fund possible through the generous contributions of our staff, executive team, and partners, who continue to help our team members in times of need. We celebrated new physicians, advanced providers, and practices that have joined Millennium, including our newest addition in Winter Haven, Florida. We continue to strive for new heights and initiatives when it comes to taking care of our most vulnerable patients, with the introduction of Monogram Kidney Care, a leading value-based specialty provider of in-home, evidence-based care, and benefit management services for patients living with chronic kidney and end-stage renal disease. All our accomplishments would not have been possible without each of you and your dedication and unwavering commitment to our patients. Our entire team was instrumental in our mission of connecting the best doctors, service, and quality. Every patient, every time.
Our physicians and advanced providers' expertise in delivering passionate care have driven our success in an ever-changing healthcare environment. With your knowledge and skills, achieving our goals was possible. Your commitment to excellence has truly set the standard for our organization. We also acknowledge that behind every successful physician is a team of indispensable team members. Our medical assistants, front desk team, receptionist, and other care team members play a pivotal role. Your contributions did not go unnoticed. Continue to be passionate about our patients and the care we deliver! Plenty of challenges await us that we can overcome through our continued commitment and dedication, which will consolidate our position of excellence in healthcare in our communities, leading to national recognition.
As we approach the holiday season and the dawn of 2024, I wish you all a joyous, prosperous, and, above all, healthy new year. Together, let's continue our journey of positively impacting healthcare and each other's lives. Remember, we are better together!

A Happy Retirement to
Gini Clougher!
Gini Clougher, Senior Regional Integration Manager, started with the inception of Millennium when Murdock Family Medicine became Millennium Physician Group. Gini began her career in the lab working at the check-in until Millennium realized her professionalism and value to the company as a wonderful, caring, and gracious team member. She progressed her career to help welcome new practices, physicians, and advanced providers into our organization, significantly contributing to Millennium's growth. She is kind and conscientious in dealing with patients, team members, physicians, and advanced providers. Happy retirement, Gini! We will miss you!

Read Heartwarming Remarks Made By Fellow Team Members & How they Feel About Gini | |
She is fun and as warm as a person can be. She loves to decorate and was a graceful figure skater in her teens. I aspire to be as proper as Gini. We like to joke how Geurt told us that all would remain the same when MPG took over and there would be no noticeable changes. Thinking of those times makes us smile.
Dorie Smay, Lab Patient Services Manager

We will all miss you. I’m sure we all have funny stories to tell about you. The biggest thing we will miss is your calm, positive attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail. It made it easier for us to get our job done. You accomplished so much! You should be proud. Congratulations and good luck!

She likes to be on time, not just early. She is very thorough, both in her personal life and her work life. She leaves no stone unturned and always ensures the job is done correctly. She loves her children and grandchildren. She is a great mother and grandmother!
She is always the most professional person; She is kind, positive, upbeat, respectful, courteous, and empathetic toward others.
Gini’s personality is fantastic. She could be my sister, friend, or mother all in one. Of the people still around this company when I started in 2003, I believe Gini is the one I have worked with the longest(other than Pam). Gini and I have worked together for 16 years. When we worked more closely together during the immense growth and acquisition phase, we always made a great team. We didn’t always see eye to eye, but that made us a great pair on the team. We balanced each other out. Gini will be greatly missed, and I appreciate that she was my partner in crime for so many years.

Gini started at Murdock Family Medicine as clinical support for our founding physicians and advanced providers. As MPG expanded, she managed offices in Lee County and Englewood before moving to the Integration team under Bob Bray.
There have been many memorable integrations/go-lives, but one that comes to mind is Avon Park, Dr. Khurana, and Sebring, Dr. Piccione. Both were new construction, and we were down to the wire. I believe certification of occupancy was received Friday, and go live was Monday, with Easter that weekend. She and I stayed all Easter weekend to stock both offices to get them ready for go live. Dr. Piccione invited us for Easter dinner at his house.
Gini is a very caring and generous person. I admire her ability to handle the tough conversations and the almost impossible tasks. I am going to miss working with Gini and her words of confidence!
Pam Pesl, Director of Clinical Applications

Ransomware Awareness
Think before you click!
According to an investigative report by Verizon, 83% of data breaches involve a human element and have usually involved ransomware, phishing, or stolen credentials. Ransomware according to Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is: “A form of malware designed to encrypt files on a device, rendering them and the systems that rely on them unusable. Malicious actors then demand ransom in exchange for decryption."
Why should I be aware of Ransomware?
Cybercriminals have recently modified their ransomware strategies to cause more damage and started stealing victims' data. They then use this stolen data to pressure their victims into paying the ransom by threatening to release the data publicly. This technique of using ransomware and stolen data to extort money is called "double extortion." In some cases, the attackers may only steal data and threaten to release it as their only method of extortion without actually using any ransomware.
