Develop a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) mindset through problem-solving, collaborative learning, and effective communication, through this sequence of four specialized courses based on a
STEAM approach to PDE STEM Endorsement
.
These courses are provided through a mutual collaboration of the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU) and Delaware Valley University (Del Val). Due to the sequence of information taught, the classes must be taken in order, but attendees need not take all four.
- Credits: Act 48 or Non-Act 48 may also be combined with Graduate Credits
- Act 48/Non-Act 48 class credits (90/class) issued through the Bucks IU
- Graduate credits (3/class) issued from Del Val
- Cost:
- $600 per class for Act 48/Non-Act 48
- $1,620 per class for the above plus graduate credit
- Location: All classes will be held at the Bucks IU, 705 N. Shady Retreat Rd., Doylestown PA
- Time: Wednesdays from 4:30pm - 7:30pm (see dates below for each class)

Introduction to STEAM Education
September 4, 2019 through October 16, 2019
This course will create a solid foundation in STEAM Education by introducing each of the STEAM disciplines; Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, and their corresponding academic standards.
