The City of Pharr Multi-Use Facility

Groundbreaking Ceremony

The City of Pharr officially broke ground on the new Pharr Multi-Use Facility, a landmark project that will strengthen our community and create a dynamic space for generations to enjoy.

Designed to support city operations, emergency preparedness, customer service functions, public health initiatives, and regional response efforts when needed, this state-of-the-art facility will enhance the ability to serve residents while preparing for the needs of a growing community.

What stands as an empty site, will soon become a symbol of progress, innovation, and the bright future ahead for Pharr.

Construction is slated for completion during the first quarter of 2028, marking an exciting milestone in Pharr's continued growth and commitment to excellence.

The Greater Pharr Chamber of Commerce was honored to celebrate 31 years of serving families with Funeraria Del Angel through a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Preplanning allows individuals and families to make important decisions in advance, easing emotional and financial stress for loved ones and ensuring personal wishes are honored when the time comes.

City leaders, partners, and distinguished guests celebrated three ribbon cuttings as Pharr Connect expands into the Pharr Housing Authority. The celebrations took place at three Pharr Housing Authority Apartment Complexes, marking another step toward providing affordable, reliable internet access for residents.

Residents of Pharr Housing Authority will now have the opportunity to connect to fast, reliable, and affordable internet service.

This expansion reflects the City’s commitment to increasing digital connectivity and ensuring residents have access to the resources they need for education, employment, healthcare, and everyday communication.
