In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the library will be closed on Monday, May 30. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 31 when we open at 10 AM. Food, Fun, and Friends! It is the perfect recipe for an upcoming program at the library! Join us every Tuesday in May, beginning May 3rd at 6 PM. Penn State Extension nutritionist, Laurie Maletto, will offer wonderful recipes, great food, and helpful information about healthier food options and smarter shopping techniques!! If that's not enough, program participants will also receive items that complement each individual lesson (i.e. food or fridge thermometer, etc.) as well as have the opportunity to win fun, free giveaways!!

The warmer temps are finally here! As women of all ages will be shedding those sweaters and boots for sundresses and sandals, now is the perfect time to protect and pamper our skin from the sun's damaging rays! Attendees will receive important information and tips from Assistant Professor of Nursing, Mary Dinger, MSN, RN, CRNP, CNE. Afterwards, participants can enjoy light refreshments and peruse skin care products and summer wear from several local vendors.
