National Library Week
is April 19-25, 2020!
This year's theme, "Find your place at the library," was chosen a while ago, before anyone could imagine a situation that would cause libraries close temporarily. But you can still find your place at the library! We are open online, providing digital resources and virtual programs that our community needs more than ever! You can access movies, ebooks, audiobooks, virtual programs and more, all from the safety and comfort of your home.
So you want to watch free movies on Hoopla. Great! If you are in need of suggestions, click here for a list of highly rated movies currently available! All the movies on this list have been given four star reviews by acclaimed movie critic Roger Ebert. You can also go directly to Hoopla to browse. Having trouble logging in? Email us !

Metuchen in the News
Metuchen resident Oscar Valera has found a way to help in the battle against
COVID-19: he has been using a 3-D printer to make face shields for health care workers! Read all about it here . T he Metuchen Library is proud to have lent an additional 3-D printer to Mr. Valera so he can increase his production. And we are extremely proud of the amazing work this resident is doing. THANK YOU!

Why do YOU love the library?
This National Library Week, all students in grades 6-12 are invited to submit a short video, picture, or written work explaining why they love the library. Email submissions to Ms. Moira at [email protected] by April 25 to be entered into a raffle for a Target gift card!
Have you responded yet?
If not, do it today! You can respond online , by phone, or by mail and it takes only a few minutes. Census results help determine how billions of dollars in federal funding flow into communities each year, and determine how many seats in Congress each state gets.
Our digital resources
are always available!
We have a wide variety of electronic resources available to Metuchen cardholders 24/7, 365 days a year - ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, The New York Times, and many others! Visit our website to learn more.
