  1. Place holds on library materials by logging into your account here or by calling us at 732-632-8526.
  2. When you get a notice that your items are ready, call us to make a pickup appointment. 
  3. Arrive at the library at your scheduled time to pickup your materials.

Even though we're closed to the public for now, our Summer Reading clubs are still taking place virtually!

BOOK DONATIONS
Have you been cleaning out your house during quarantine? While we are currently unable to accept donations, we plan to resume taking donations November 1.

If you need to donate your books sooner, local book seller and Friend Fred Eines, will pick up 25 books or more within Metuchen and Edison. He has will donate part of his book sales to Friends of the Metuchen Library. You can reach Fred at goodbuysfromfred@gmail.com

Book Buzz and Book Buddies - Book Discussion Groups for Kids

J oin Ms. Glynis and your friends to talk about books - sign up for
Book Buddies (grades K-2)! The first 10 children to register for each will get a free paperback copy of the book courtesy of

Select and read five books that fit the categories below, so that the categories form a BINGO! Get five in a row across, vertically, or diagonally, or one in each corner plus the center. Mark the categories with the name of the book you read, and email us the form by September 1st.

Teen Advisory Board for all students
