Project Updates

  • Project Delivery hosted two Kahua Walkthroughs, two Q&A sessions, and two Kahua Lunch and Learn meetings to provide project stakeholders with opportunities to ask questions and share feedback on processes in Kahua.
  • The project team and project stakeholders met with the OnIndus team to conduct two more validation sessions to discuss the requirements for Custom Applications and Procurement and Bidding in Kahua.
  • Kelsey Landolt, a Kahua sales executive, stopped by UMB to check in on the project and highlight the capabilities of Noa, Kahua's new built-in artificial intelligence (AI) assistant designed for construction and capital program management. It helps teams work easier by answering questions, automating repetitive tasks, and uncovering insights from project data while also enabling app and workflow creation using natural language through kBuilder Canvas.
  • Next Steps: The project team will test and evaluate Noa's capabilities and see how the AI assistant can be incorporated into the Kahua implementation.
  • In the Works: Validation Session - Financials
  • In July, OnIndus will meet with the project team and subject matter experts to review and discuss financial applications within Kahua.

Delegation Feature in Kahua

Tasks can be manually delegated or automatically delegated to another user in Kahua. When you delegate a task, you are reassigning it to another user. The delegated tasks will then appear in their task application.

Users can manually delegate assigned tasks or set up automatic delegation for a period of time when they are out of the office ensuring that work continues efficiently and without delays.

Additionally, an administrator can manually delegate tasks by using the Project Tasks app, or they can set up automatic delegation on their behalf in the Users application.
