On December 6, Palmetto Bay will celebrate one of its biggest events of the year as we host our annual State of the Village Address at beautiful Thalatta Estate Park! Mayor Karyn Cunningham and our Village Council invite you to enjoy this special evening under the stars and by the bay as we join together to commemorate the achievements of the past year and celebrate our community. And if you're unable to come in person, don't worry; the event will be livestreamed so residents can also enjoy it from the comfort of their homes.

Thank You to Our First Responders!

Our First Responders Appreciation Day luncheon at Palmetto Bay Park was a great way to thank the brave men and women who ensure public safety in the event of an emergency. The guests were joined by Mayor Karyn Cunningham, Vice Mayor Leanne Tellam, and Councilman Steve Cody, and in addition to a tasty lunch provided by Mercedes-Benz of Cutler Bay, they also received thank-you letters written by students from our Village elementary schools. To all the police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, and EMTs, you have our endless gratitude for the important and selfless work that you do!

Our Art in Public Places Board Needs You!

Public art helps give our Village its unique and lovely look, and our Art-In-Public Places Advisory Board is seeking new members to help us keep it that way! The Board reviews and proposes artwork items to be acquired, and also oversees the public education and curatorial aspects of the program. If you have experience in a museum or art gallery or have worked as an artist, an art dealer, or in the fields of architecture, interior design, or graphic design, we would love to hear from you!
