I was born & raised in the Midwest (Missouri & Kansas).
At an early age I traveled to San Francisco & entered the world of finance @ Dean, Whittier, & Reynolds.
I traveled down to the Los Angeles area & met my husband and became CEO & President of Peninsula Pet Clinic, Inc. until sold at the beginning of March, 2020.
During my 25 years in the veterinarian ownership business, I was able to help thousands of rescue animals be restored physically & emotionally.
While I was raising my two beautiful children & felt so blessed, I volunteered with the Los Angeles Crisis Response Team for 4 years to respond to greater the Los Angeles community in their greatest time of need with the death of loved ones. That work was the most humbling & important work of my life, as it put into perspective what was most important to me: Family & Quality-Of-Life!
I finished by BS I. in Clinical psychology Cumma Sum Laude, & began my Masters in science in Clinical Psychology. My goal is to finish my Masters & continue on with my doctorate in order to help those with PTSD from any life experience & to host guests at Bear Creek Lodge so that they may experience their closeness to Mother Nature & find perspective.
BEAR Creek Lodge Bio:
The original structure of Bear Creek Lodge was constructed from 2010, 2011, & 2012. It’s original owners had a vision to erect a 3 story lodge that kept out the heat in the summer & cold in the winter. All of the timber used for the building & all of the custom cabinetry came from the sustainable resources on the property, itself.
Mr. Trevarthen was a structural rocket engineer for large engineering companies down in Los Angeles for many years & he and his wife traveled all over the country to find the perfect place for them to spend their retirement years. And here at Bear Creek Lodge, nestled-in, next door to the El Dorado National Forest, is where they found their dream years (retirement).
The new owner, Jill Denzin, decided to open up the Lodge so that others may enjoy the solace, privacy, constellations, nature, & wildlife that the lodge has to offer.
With many travelers not wanting to venture too far away from home, but experience a complete change in their surroundings, Bear Creek Lodge is the perfect place to unwind, relax, take deep breaths, lounge, hike, river raft, etc...
