Obtaining Municipal Transfers Stamps... Like no one else!

We obtain stamps prior to closing to ensure all municipal requirements have been fulfilled. This allows for peace of mind that all requirements have been completed and the deed can recorded immediately after closing.

CLAS Clerking will advance funds on behalf of the transaction in order for stamps to be purchase prior to closing. This includes fees for the water, fines and stamps.

We will submit and coordinate with the municipalities for approval of the stamps to be issued.

Flat rate of $125.00 to obtain stamps (Calumet City and Sycamore higher rate)

Document recording in all Illinois Counties.

CLAS Clerking works with our survey vendor to schedule, coordinate and support the issuance of a residential survey.

City of Chicago Services

City of Chicago Water certifications. CLAS Clerking are leaders in obtaining, understanding and providing customer services on City of Chicago water certification. This includes providing proper prorations for closing and having a team that is able to physically walk into the water department to discuss situations with the water department.

City of Chicago zoning certifications, including direction of reconsideration letters when needed.

Tax payments and Redemptions

Obtaining and paying of Estimate of Redemption, Open Items Bills and Fortified tax bills.
