Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a happy and healthy holiday season. The beginning of the year is a time of hope and to honor that, the Tigger Stavola Foundation has been able to give back to well-deserving organizations within our community. The holidays can be an especially difficult time for individuals struggling with addiction or those in early recovery. During a season of giving, we are excited to share the opportunities we had to support our partners in the community. Check it out!

What's Been Happening at TSF?

TSF Brings Hope to Residents at Atlantic Sober Living Unfortunately, many individuals in treatment do not have the opportunity to see their loved ones around the holidays. Team Tigger brought holiday cheer to Atlantic Sober Living by providing holiday gifts. The road to recovery can be challenging, and our visit provided the residents hope. One client expressed their gratitude and said, “This truly makes me feel like I can do this. There are people who I can surround myself with to help me make better choices and to keep on putting one foot in front of the other to get well!”

TSF Donates $1,500 to Applaud Our Kids Foundation The mission of Applaud Our Kids Foundation is to give children the opportunity to find their own voice, increase their self-esteem, give them a sense of belonging, and provide them with positive reinforcement through the performing arts. Team Tigger gave $1,500, which will provide one child with financial barriers with ongoing performing arts lessons for one year. Last fall, the AOK Performance Group performed at the Greatest Show on the Beach to a very impressed crowd! To learn more about Applaud Our Kids Foundation and the AOK Performance group, click here.

TSF Donates $1,000 to Hazlet’s Hope Network Team Tigger presented Hazlet’s Hope Network with $1,000 to use towards their mission of helping Bayshore area residents seeking recovery from Substance Use Disorder. Hazlet’s Hope Network uses a peer-based approach by working as a direct intermediary between those with substance abuse disorders and the local police departments. The organization also works directly with treatment centers and provides follow-up communication to ensure a seamless path to long-term health and wellness.​TSF is honored to support their hard work in the community and assist in the fight against addiction.   To learn more about Hazlet’s Hope Network, click here.
