Nest Heartbeat

At the 3rd Annual Golf Charity Event, Travis and his mother, Frances, shared how important Nest's community is to them. Travis is 38 years old and found his social group when he visited Nest the first day. He looks forward to the days he attends Nest's classes. He loves carpentry and spends his time building home decor and selling them at Nest events and other RVA events. For Travis, the Thriving Together program isn't just a place to make friends and have fun, but where he found a second family. He will missed when his family moves another part of Virginia but his family has committed to allowing him to visit several times a month and attend classes virtually.

A SUCCESSFUL GOLF EVENT LEADING TO MORE FUN IN 2024!

Thank you for supporting the Nest Golf Fundraiser! We raised over $44,000! We had over 95 golfers attend and $8,500 in prizes so everyone walked away a winner. Thank you to our 45 sponsors and 54 in-kind donors for helping us make this a special night! These funds will go toward growing the Thriving Together Program expanding it from 26 members today with more fun activities and Adaptive Adventures in 2024!
